Comics Reader Plattform (CROP) was founded by concious readers and art lovers including academicians, artists and reasearchers on 23rd April 2006. Comics is rejoicing and interest and importance as an art worldwide, aiming to also promote comics to its deserved respect and value in our country, our plattform continues to develope and execute new projects. Our togetherness, starting as a mailing group on internet, overgrows itself with every new project and every reader participation from all age groups. CROP intents to built the future of an art today by becoming a bridge through comics between artists, publishing houses and readers. It is a very important step towards a concious society when an art becomes widespread.
On the contrary to so called art lovers, who perceive art as “consumption” and provide nothing more than plain financial support to artists, publishers joining creations and readers, creations making life endurable, providing esthetics, elegance and contribute to our questioning, CROP sets supporting artists and creations as a doctrine. CROP, common plane of concious, developing, questioning, art loving comics reader, awaits all who adopt “Own Your Art” principle and wish to become their example hero to our mailing group for taking part in our new projects.
